DONJOY currently mainly produces a total of 8 types of pumps, with the following characteristics and advantages:
1-Screw pump: precision viscous fluid delivery
Working principle: The transport is achieved through the rotating screw in the stator. The cavity between the threads allows the fluid to move axially. A large delivery pressure can be generated. The spacing characteristics between the screws can transport medium containing particles without destroying the particles.
Main features: smooth flow and no pulsation.
Application: high viscosity food media, such as yogurt, chocolate, honey, etc. containing particles.
2-Rotor pump: fluid handling versatility
Working principle: positive displacement pump, rotating rotor generates positive pressure and transports liquid.
Main features: better economy than screw pumps, simple design, and smooth delivery.
Application: food and beverage (ketchup, cooking oil, dairy products, etc.).
3- Centrifugal pump: large flow, efficient flow
Working principle: Use the centrifugal force of the rotating impeller in the volute to accelerate the fluid. Generate flow head.
Main features: Efficient delivery of large flow, can handle low viscosity fluids.
Application: pure water, milk.
4- Self-priming pump: Convenience in difficult applications
Working principle: Exhaust air from the suction line through the internal cavity/valve and start automatically.
Main features: Self-priming ability
Application: Suitable for working conditions that require suction, such as pumping water from a tank.
5- Homogeneous mixing pump: achieve uniform mixing
Working principle: composed of different pumps, time powder particles and medium mixing.
Main features: Time liquid and powder particles mixing.
Application: Powder medium mixing in the food industry, liquid refinement.
6- Flexible impeller pump: Gentle treatment of fine fluids
Working principle: The flexible elastic impeller rotates, and the blades bend to form an expansion/contraction cavity.
Main features: Gentle treatment of fluids.
Application: alcoholic beverages, such as wine and beer.
7-Emulsifying homogenizing pump: changing fluid consistency
Working principle: using high shear force impeller to convey, emulsify and subdivide the medium to form a stable emulsion.
Main features: reducing the droplet size to a fine and uniform liquid level.
Application: food industry (mayonnaise, emulsified emulsions), cosmetics (lotions, creams).
8-Sine pump: providing smooth and efficient flow for special fluids
Working principle: Sine-shaped rotor positive displacement, achieving smooth and continuous flow.
Main features: low shear force, can handle high viscosity and solids.
Application: pharmaceutical (biofluids), food industry (chocolate, honey).
