The good self-priming performance of the rotary lobe pump is a key factor in determining its ability to participate in submerged membrane processing. Like the pressurized pump in pressurized membrane processing, a rotary lobe pump powers the membrane processing process. The self-priming ability of the rotary lobe pump allows the water flow to be filtered through the ultrafiltration/microfiltration membrane.
How does the rotor pump produce self-priming? The main conveying components of the rotary lobe pump are two helical rotors covered by elastomers. The rotors and the rotors mesh with each other to promote the continuous formation of vacuum under high-speed rotation. At the same time, the rotor pump adopts the wide-side rotor design with patented technology, which further improves the volumetric efficiency, wear resistance and flow stability performance of the rotor pump compared with the traditional rotor pump.
